Ferrari factory original Ferrari 1947 - 1997 Participants Postcard Album.
This is a VERY rare item from the 50 years Ferrari celebrations back in 1997.
As you might know, only invited guests could attend the celebrations, amongst which a round tour along historically important Ferrari landmarks such as the factory, Enzo Ferrari's house, the Fiorano track etc.
Each participant was given one of these albums, empty, and at each of the stops a special postcard could be collected which was supposed to be put in this album.
Understandably, not everybody completed the tour and those who did will of course not easily part with their album but this album is complete with ALL 18 postcards!
The album measures some 9 x 8 inches or 23 x 21 cm.

Ferrari factory original circa 1992 Ferrari Carpet Sample Set.
Ferrari have always supplied their Sales / Showroom personnel with material to make the choice of car specification easy for any prospective owner.
These items are probably the most seen and most used of their “tools-of-trade”, but not ones that are readily available to the Ferrari enthusiast.
This item is the Ferrari Carpet Brochure (or Swatch) of sample pieces that a Salesman would have used to specify the carpet trim on a new Ferrari 456 GT.
The samples all measure 25cm x 17cm (or 10 x 6.5 inches), bound in matching leather, and are held together by the old method of “screw and stud”, previously used on parts manuals.
All of the pieces (6 in total) are in very good condition and are listed on a front sheet as:
In good, hardly used, condition.

The 1997 Le Mans poster was the last of the "The star car used for sponsorship" era in Le Mans posters which lasted from 1981 to 1997.
Design of the 1997 Le Mans poster was in the hands of the Wake-Upp agency and was based on photographs by Guichaoua and Marguerat.
This year shows the return of all categories of cars with three out of the four featured. The graphics mask the track and it again features the slogan "La legende s'ecrit devant vos yeux" which loosely translates into "The legends is written before your eyes".
The race was won by Michele Alboreto / Stefan Johansson / Tom Kristensen in their # 7 Joest Racing Porsche TWR WSC 95 with a total of 361 laps to their name.
For the full results of this race, please see 24 Heures du Mans results 1997.

A VERY VERY scarce Ferrari item...
This is an official tabard to be worn by a photographer during the "50 Years Ferrari" celebrations in 1997 on Sicily.
It shows of course the famous "50" logo designed by Enzo Naso along with the Ferrari shield logo and 1947 - 1997.
It was issued specifically for the events that took place on Sicily and did not give access to any of the other events.
Press admittance was VERY strictly regulated by Ferrari so not many of these tabards were issued and of course none were ever intended to be available to Ferrari collectors!
Only 1 tabard available!
