Here we have a 1961 copy of the Italian book "L'automobile, Storia illustrata dalle origini ad oggi di Gianni Marin e Andrea Mattei".
This book, issued in 1961 by Schwarz editore in Milano, Italia told the story of many car makes, illustrated by countless pictures.
Of course, Ferrari was amongst the makes that were covered.
In 1962, Enzo signed page 212 of this book, right next to a photo of him racing an Alfa Romeo 6C 1500 in the 1920's.
The book comes with a page from a notepad that says in French (we acquired this from the estate of a famous French Ferrari personality) that page 212 was signed by Enzo Ferrari in Maranello at the famous restaurant Cavallino, across the street from the Ferrari factory.
For the record: the book measures some 30 x 20 cm (or 12 x 8 inches) and counts 255 pages.
Only 1 available of course as every autographed item is unique and we provide a Certificate of Authenticity with it which guarantees that this is a genuine signature.

Vintage August 17 1988 issue of the Italian newspaper "La Gazetta dello Sport" with on the front page the news of Enzo Ferrari having passed away quietly.
This vintage issue dedicates 9 pages to the life & times of Enzo after he had passed away 3 days earlier.
The headlines read:
A "global" Italian expires.Ferrari, a silent farewell.
In very good condition for its age and a rare issue!
Apart from the, obvious, Ferrari interest it is also a wonderful time-document as the front page pays attention to the battle between Ben Johnson and Carl Lewis on the (athletic) track and the upcoming soccer match between PSV Eindhoven and AC Milan with such stars as Ronald Koeman and Ruud Gullit (still with dreads at that time!).
