Vintage 1954 Photo of Ferrari 375 Plus S/N 0396AM Victorious at the 24 Heures du Mans

Vintage 1954 Photo of Ferrari 375 Plus S/N 0396AM, victorious at the 24 Heures du Mans.

This is a vintage 1954 photo of the Ferrari 375 Plus of Froilan Gonzales and Maurice Trintignant at the finish of the 1954 running of the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

The duo raked up 302 laps or a royal 4,016 kms, 1 lap ahead of Tony Rolt and Duncan Hamilton in their D-Type Jaguar.

The car now seems to reside in France after a rebody following the horrendous crash of Jack McAfee and Ford Robinson during the 1954 running of the Carrera Panamericana in which Robinson got killed.

This is a vintage print, i.e. printed shortly after the original image was captured on film.

The photo measures some 8.5 x 11 inches and is in mint condition and carries NO photographer's stamp on the back.

Only 1 available.

Newly arrived 1954 Ferrari 375 MM Spyder Sales Flyer English Merritt 117

1954 Ferrari 375 MM Spider Sales Brochure Merritt 117 in English.

This is an original 1954 oversized postcard / sales flyer for the Ferrari 375 Mille Miglia as listed in Richard Merritt's book on page 117 - 118.

The front shows a great shot S/N 0460AM (believed to be the oldest Ferrari still in the hands of its original owner / family) while the rear falsely shows the caption "410 Superamerica" along with the specs in English.

This is what Richard Merritt wrote about it:
This fantastic Ferrari 375 MM Farina roadster, number 0460-AM, (and here mis-named as a 410 SA), is still in the hands of the original owner and looks this nice even today. It is felt that the specifications, which show data for a 410 version, indicate an intention at the time to produce a small series which failed to materialize. The only major difference between the 375 and 410 engines was the increased bore, from 84 to 88 millimeters. The fitting of front bumperettes perhaps would indicate that this car was intended primarily for normal street usage. However, there are no provisions for windshield wipers, a top, or easy entrance for the elegantly dressed lady.

As visible in the photos, it carries the stamp of Luigi Chinetti on the back as well as a date stamp (JUL 15 1957).

It is in a more than excellent condition for its age and is a rare opportunity.
The photos are of the actual card up for sale so please be your own judge on its condition.

It measures approximately 21 x 15 cm or some 8.5 x 6 inches.

Language: English.

Merritt reference: Pages 117 + 118.

We only have 1 available of course.

Vintage 1955 COLOR Photograph of Jim Kimberly's Ferrari 375MM S/N 0364AM at the SCCA Beverly Race 4th of July 1955.

The photo can be dated so exactly as in February 1955, the trailer on which he car was being transported flipped over and the 4th of July race was the first race outing after the damage had been repaired but the car raced in bare aluminum... and that is very well recognizable in this photo.

The car was recently auctioned by RM Auctions and set a new record for a 375 MM!

This is a vintage late 1960's or early 1970's print, judging by the other prints that were in this collection.

It measures some 9 x 6 cm or 3.5 x 2.4 inches.

Only 1 available.

Vintage 1955 Photograph of Duncan Black's Ferrari 375MM S/N 0382AM at the SCCA Beverly Race 4th of July 1955.

The photo can be dated so exactly as the car got a new windshield configuration between February and July 1955 and raced only once with race number 14 in combination with that new windshield and that was at the SCCA Beverly meeting of the 4th of July 1955...

The car raced twice that day, once in race 3 which it didn't finish and once in race 7 in which it came in second in class and third overall.

Black acquired the car in July 1955 and raced it not less that 25 times until he sold it on in 1960. The car now seems to reside in Austria.

This is a vintage November 1970 print, as it is dated on the white border.

This photo was taken either on the 1st of July 1955 or on the 4th of July 1995.

It can be dated so exactly as the photo belongs to a series that was shot on the 4th of July 1955 at the SCCA Beverly meeting and given the fact that the car did not yet bear its make-shift racing number "14" in this photo, it was short early in the morning of that 4th of July.

Vintage 1963 Ferrari 250 GTE 2+2 Series III Sales Brochure Tonti

Ferrari factory original vintage 1963 Ferrari 250 GTE 2+2 Series III Pininfarina sales brochure.

Excellent condition for its age.

This is an extremely scare (maybe the word "rare" would be justified?) sales brochure for the Series 3 GTE that apparently dates from 1963 and is NOT listed in Richard Merritt's book.

We had never seen one "in the flesh" until we came across this one... It is documented in other places than the Merritt book though.

Not to be missed by the man (or woman!) that already has everything on the 250 GTE!

It measures a staggering approximately 14 inches (38 centimeter) wide and it unfolds to an even more staggering 4 x 16.5 cm = 66 cm or 25 inches high! Hardly a brochure to overlook!

It was produced by Studio Barbieri and Arti Grafiche Lazzarini and printed by "Tonti". As a consequence, we have dubbed it the "Tonti Brochure".

Do we need to stress how rare this brochure is and how you would hate yourself if you would allow somebody else to get away with it?

Only 1 available.
